What is Contextual inquary
Contextual inquiry (CI) is a user-centered design (UCD) ethnographic research method, part of the Contextual Design methodology. A contextual inquiry interview is usually structured as an approximately two-hour, one-on-one interaction in which the researcher watches the user do their normal activities and discusses what they see with the user.
In this technique users are interviewed while they are doing their tasks.
Advantages
1. Information get by contextual inquiry are highly reliable.
2.Can see user's natural reactions.

bottom and search for older news articles. (user seems
confused and get excited).
01:18 me : OK OK. It seems its difficult you to find that.
01:19 User : Yeah.
01:22 me : OK then. Can you view full description of a news
post?
01:36 User : Scroll to the top of
the page and search some time. Finally says “I can’t” because she is unable to
find it.
01:59 me : Hmm. There is a place
to chat with people in this site. Can you find it?

and left hand side of the page. Then scroll to the bottom. After that because
she is unable to find it says “I can’t”.

the site. But not find it. (Feeling embarrassed)
